11th International Workshop Direct and Inverse Problems on Piezoelectricity

20th - 22rd September 2015, Paderborn

The workshop is dedicated to the diverse field of piezoelectricity. It covers mathematical modeling, experimental methods, and industrial applications of piezoelectric materials and devices. Aim of the workshop is to contribute to open problems in
  • numerical simulation (direct and inverse analysis)
  • advanced materials characterization
  • discussion of fatigue, damage, cracks and reliability
  • manufacturing processes and
  • performance of piezoelectric transducers.

Thus, the overall intention of the workshop is to bring together again experts from different fields of research such as engineering, applied mathematics, and materials science, as well as from the industrial sector.

The 11th workshop will continue and extend the previous workshops that were animated by lively discussions from numerous participants.
